Wheelie bin used in attack on taxi passenger in Aylesbury

A 32-year-old man was seriously assaulted by the passengers he was sharing a taxi with.

At around midnight on Saturday he got into the taxi with two other men and headed to Shakespeare Way, Aylesbury.

When the victim got out of the taxi, he was assaulted by the other two passengers.

He was kicked and punched to the head andpolice, who treating it as an incident of grevious bodily harm (GBH) said a wheelie bin was used during the attack. The victim suffered cuts and bruising to his head and face and was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital. He’s since been discharged.

PC Graham Gray said: “This is a serious assault where the victim has sustained several kicks and punches to the head. I am keen to identify the taxi driver who would have taken the three men to Shakespeare Way, Aylesbury, and any other witnesses in that area who may have heard or seen anything.”
