One of the stars of last year’s Waterside Theatre pantomime has reached the final of BBC One’s new Saturday night talent show.
Danny Colligan who played Aladdin in last year’s panto has reached the final of Let It Shine as part of boyband Nightfall.
Danny, 24, was a hit last year when he performed on the Waterside stage alongside Michelle Collins.
During his panto stint he also found time to perform at the Wendover Christmas light switch-on, take part in the Thame Lantern Parade and visit patients at Florence Nightingale Hospice to draw their annual raffle.
During the final, Danny and his band Nightfall will be up against Five to Five and Drive.
The other members of Nightfall are Bradley, Huw, Jason and Julius, with the group performing Without You by Usher in their semi-final at the weekend.
The final airs on Saturday at 6.45pm with the winning group getting a part in a new Take That musical being commissioned by Gary Barlow.
