This week customers and friends have flocked to Hayley’s shop, to leave floral tributes and messages expressing their shock and sadness at the tragic news.

A customer, who had his hair cut by the friendly business owner recently said: “She was really friendly, a nice, caring person. The whole village is in shock.

“Hayley had an infectious smile, which made going to the barbers more of a treat than it should have been.

“She’d take an interest in what I’d been up to and you could tell she loved her job.
