Update: Armed police at the University of Buckingham
Police have confirmed that armed officers were called to the University of Buckingham this afternoon.
Officers were called to the scene at 11.15am after reports that a man had been seen with a firearm or an imitation firearm.
A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We were called to an incident and responded in a swift but proportionate manner.”
