Sharpen your taste buds, dust off your dancing shoes and remind all your friends and neighbours that Summerfest 2015 is on Saturday (July 4).
The one day Haddenham Beer Festival provides barrels of beer, real ales and real lager, plus lots of cider. And non-beer drinkers are catered for too, with gin-based punches, Pimms, wine and a great range of non-alcoholic refreshments.
With lots of activities on hand for children too, this all adds up to a family friendly event, and there’s plenty of food too.
There will be live bands all day, from 11am through to 9pm when the festival closes.
Entrance is just £5 in advance (tickets are available from loads of places) or £6 on the day of the festival which is held in the grounds of Haddenham Junior School in Woodways. Huge marquees will provide safe options for all flavours of British weather but the organisers promise they have booked a lovely sunny day.
Haddenham’s unique radio station, SummerFest Radio, has been in operation in the two weeks leading up to the festival, operating from Haddenham Garden Centre 24/7 until Sunday.
The festival aims to raise money for the community as well as provide a great day out, and has raised an average of £30,000 in previous years.
