Now four weeks long, one week longer than usual, the laughter kicks off on June 28 and carries on until July with a very considerate tiny break in the middle to fit in with the Chilfest musical weekend.

And there’s a fantastic line up of performers to look forward to with some outstanding profile names including Patrick Kielty, Ed Byrne, Katherine Ryan, Josh Widdicombe, Sara Pascoe, Mark Thomas, Hardeep Singh Kohli, Jenny Eclair, Henning Wehn and Romesh Ranganathan.

The festival, with shows big and small, will provide comics, magicians, sketch groups and variety acts as well as kids shows.

Organiser Ben Moorhouse said: “I’m most excited to be hosting the most remarkable Variety Night featuring the brilliant ‘Boy With Tape on his Face’ – one of the most unique performers in the world.

“It’s taken four years of phone calls and emails to make this gig happen. He is a phenomena and I’m so proud to get him to Tring.”

The Chaplinesque New Zealander, who has been compared to Buster Keaton and Mr Bean appears on the This Gilded Lili with special guests bill on Tuesday, June 30.

Tringe passports and many of the gigs have practically sold out, so act fast to secure your ticket.
