Trial date set for man charged with attempted murder
A trial date has been set for a 50-year-old man who was charged with attempted murder after a stabbing.
Kevin Peters, of Chaloners Hill in Steeple Claydon, was arrested and charged by officers last week.
It was in relation to an incident in the village at around 2pm on July 19 when a man was stabbed in the arm.
Mr Peters appeared at Reading Crown Court yesterday, Thursday. He is due to reappear on October 31 for plea and case management.
A trial date has been set for January 12.
