Chiltern Railways has announced changes to its usual weekend schedule for trains between Aylesbury railway stations and London Marylebone over the upcoming bank holiday.

Planned engineering works means replacement buses will be used on parts of the regular train routes departing from Aylesbury between Saturday and Monday. Passengers are advised to take trains going to London Marylebone via Princes Risborough and High Wycombe during the upcoming bank holiday.

London Underground track maintenance work between Harrow on the Hill and Amersham is planned throughout the bank holiday. As a result, Chiltern Railways is running no trains between London and Aylesbury Vale Parkway via Amersham.

Replacement buses will be deployed to transport passengers to train stations still being served by Chiltern Railways. Buses will be travelling to the following stations: Beaconsfield - Amersham - Great Missenden - Wendover - Stoke Mandeville - Aylesbury - Aylesbury Vale Parkway.

In addition, due to early morning engineering works on Sunday, no Chiltern Railways trains will be running between London Marylebone, High Wycombe and Aylesbury, Oxford, or Banbury until 08.30.

Chiltern Railways is advising customers to allow extra time for their journey, book tickets via the Chiltern Railways website or application, or check their journey before travelling.
