Town turns out for special party

For a carnival that's had a few concerns over its future this year, there was no way a few showers were going to rain on anyone's parade.

The long closure of the High Street rail bridge had meant contingency plans had had to be made for a new parade route and this was led by Queen Caitlin, Princess Lilli and Prince Riley.

A last minute flurry of float entries also meant the procession through the town, enertained the crowds.
