Top HS2 chiefs on more than PM
There are 18 members of staff working for HS2 that earn more than David Cameron.
The firm that wants to build a high speed rail network through Bucks employs 26 staff who earn more than £100,000 a year, 18 earn more than the Prime Minister who is on £142,000.
Stop HS2 campaigner Joe Rukin, said: “We have always said that HS2 is about jobs for the boys, and the bosses see to be running their own gravy train. It seems there is an ever increasing number of snouts in an ever expanding tax-payer funded trough, as the only thing anyone at HS2 Ltd seems to know how to do is chuck money into a financial black hole.”
