Toddler rescued from her bedroom after policeman breaks down door using his ‘derriere’

A two-year-old girl who was trapped in her bedroom was rescued after police broke down the door.

The toddler was trapped at her home in Quainton Road, Waddesdon and officers were called after she was unable to be freed.

A tweet from the Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale Twitter account said: “#p5924 just broke down a door to free a 2 yr old child locked in their room in Waddesdon using his derriere! #p5823 #allinadayswork.”

A police spokesman confirmed: “We were called at 12.59pm yesterday (Thursday) to Quainton Road in Waddesdon to reports that a child had become locked in her bedroom.

“Officers attended and the child was released from the room by 1.09pm.”
