Artist Margaret Mee unveils works in digital and mixed media during an exhibition at the Courtyard Gallery in Wendover until May 31.

In the Joining Forces exhibition Margaret will be exhibiting with fellow artist Jane Greer and also during the Bucks Open Studios at Hastoe Village Hall from June 11-26.

Margaret said: “My new series of digital and mixed media artworks featuring a juggling figure epitomises my life at the moment.

“Having a young toddler has made me look at the world in a whole new light as all mums will appreciate. With the commitments that entails my artwork has evolved in different directions. Digital painting has featured prominently in my new work both as a developmental approach and a means of creating final pieces.

“This approach has really allowed me to explore new ideas as there is no mess and I don’t have to worry about my daughter Isabel adding her own splash of creativity to my canvases. The messy stuff takes place in the garden studio (shed) which is strictly out of bounds to toddlers.”
