Thieves who broke into a house through the rear patio window are being hunted by police.
The house in Carrington Crescent, Wendover was burgled some time between 2.10pm on Saturday and 11.30am yesterday.
Once inside, the thieves ransacked the property but it is not yet known at this stage what items have been stolen.
Investigating officer PC Nicola Ambrose said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have seen anyone suspicious or witnesses anything unusual or out of the ordinary.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to remind residents to keep doors double locked, to use timer lights if their home is unoccupied between hours of darkness and to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
