Teenager stabbed during '˜violent' attack in Aylesbury

A 16-year-old boy remains in hospital after being stabbed and hit with a metal bar during a violent attack in Aylesbury yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

The incident happened at about 5.55pm in Aqua Way when the boy was attacked by a group of four men.

The men then left the scene in a vehicle.

The offenders are believed to be Asian.

One was wearing a red bandana, and another was wearing a black bandana.

Police say the vehicle in which the group left could have been a white or silver Vauxhall.

Det Con Chris Downs of Aylesbury CID said: “This was a violent attack in which a 16-year-old boy has been stabbed and hit with a metal bar.

“Our officers will be in Aylesbury carrying out enquiries into this investigation, and a thorough investigation is taking place.

“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this attack, or who has any information which they think could be relevant to our investigation.

“Anyone who has any details should contact Thames Valley Police via the non-emergency number 101.”
