Talk by chairman of seed company for vegetable society

The Bucks District Association of The National Vegetable Society will welcome speaker Dr Peter Dawson, chairman of Tozer Seeds, to give a talk about breeding and developing flavoursome vegetable varieties, at Pitstone Memorial Hall, on Friday, October 23 at 7.30pm.

Dr Dawson has been responsible for the breeding and introduction of such well known varieties as Parsnip Gladiator and Runner Bean Moonlight.

NVS members free, non-member guests £3, but free upon producing their local Horticultural Society membership card.

Light refreshments will be provided and the Memorial Hall has a licensed bar.
