Boxing day meet in Winslow
Riders from three to 70 years enjoyed taking part in the Bicester Hunt with Whaddon Chase meeting on Boxing Day.

Ivan Lawrence, master in charge of the day, said: “The little ones were on ponies with leading reins. It was a lovely family atmosphere.”

A stirrup cup was provided at the start of the meet in the field opposite Winslow Hall, before the riders set off towards the Quainton hills and North Marston with 17 and a half couple of hounds (ie, 35).

Mr Lawrence said: “It was a super day and the atmosphere was very positive. The field was full and the road was lined all the way to the outskirts of Winslow.”
