STORM DORIS: Police issue advice for residents as storm batters Aylesbury Vale

With Storm Doris moving across Aylesbury Vale, Thames Valley Police says it is experiencing a higher than usual number of calls.

The force says that its is working with emergency services partners to respond to all enquiries but wants to remind the public only to dial 999 in a genuine emergency.

A spokesman said: “Travel and weather information is available from local radio, television and on the Met Office website.

“We would encourage the public to follow advice and plan your journeys accordingly.”
