The show took place at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre in March and the money was handed over yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

The hospice’s PR and marketing manager Sam Heggie said: “It was fantastic to see the show with a real mixture of ages from tiny tots to teenagers and our thanks go to Stagecoach Thame and Aylesbury, all the dancers and all the parents.

“You can equate £11,000 to paying for 11 weeks of inpatient nursing.”
