Spot the ostrich in training for London Marathon

If you spot an ostrich running around the Buckinghamshire countryside, its most likely to be Ben Fletcher in training for the London Marathon.

Ben Fletcher to run the London Marathon in an ostrich costume

Ben, 26, from Dunsmore, will be making his first appearance in this race, raising funds for the charity MACS, who support children born without eyes or underdeveloped eyes.

Ben said: “I thought what better way to embark on the greatest marathon in the world than to run in fancy dress, riding an ostrich. I was also scared of ostriches as a child whenever I went to the zoo, so this became a bit of a running joke within my family.”

Thanks to the generosity of friends and family, Ben has almost reached his minimum target of £1,350 already and plan to raise much more.
