A Steeple Claydon woman is preparing to have her head shaved for charity, in memory of her beloved Grandpa.
Sarah Guy, aged 28, will be facing the clippers in a bid to raise £500 for Florence Nightingale Hospice, where her grandfather, George Beale, was cared for before he passed away earlier this month.
On her Justgiving page, Sarah wrote: “They took him into their family as though he was their own, they loved and cared for him allowing him safety and dignity.
“They offered him more support then we could have asked for, they also extended their support to us when we needed it the most.”
Sara is due to lose her locks on Bank Holiday Monday, between 5pm and 7pm at Steeple Claydon Village Hall.
She has also roped in her husband, Andrew, who is going to have his legs waxed at the same time.
Anyone wishing to show support is welcome to go along on the day, or visit www.justgiving.com/georgebealememory
