Repeat Offenders band looking to 2016 with hope

Mod rockers The Repeat Offenders, who hail from Aylesbury, have had a successful year.

They have recorded songs at Paul Weller’s studio in London, been enlisted to appear in an advert for Microsoft and scored an endorsement from top guitar makers Hofner.

Singer and guitarist Andrew Ruddick, said: “The Microsoft thing came from Twitter via a friend who knew Comedy Dave from Radio One.

“We only found out that we were doing it the day before, and the money from it helped us to get more studio time which was great.

“I already play a Hofner guitar, and we are lucky to have lots of support from people on social media.

“We do post pictures of us playing guitars and they must have spotted it because someone from Hofner got in touch.

“We sent them our EP and they loved it and said that they want to endorse the band.”

And looking forward to 2016, Andrew says that he hopes hard work, and increased radio air play will help to get the band even more fans.

He said: “We will just see what comes along, we have already had quite a lot of interest in the new EP.

“We are scheduled radio promotion and Festivals in January, the best thing about this whole process is that we have always moved forward, we haven’t ever moved back. “

He added: “We are definitely putting the work in.

“I haven’t even had my car that long and have already put 8,000 miles on it by doing things for the band.”
