Remembering the good old days at care home's music event

Buckingham Lodge Care Home, Aylesbury, music hall. Home manager, Wendi Luck, 2nd from right in red and her staff got into the music hall spirit with singer, Maria Scobey, in the front.

Buckingham Lodge Care Home was transported back to Victorian-Edwardian times as staff dressed up for the occasion while residents and visitors enjoyed music from the period.

Julie Chanel, customer relations manager at the home in Buckingham Park, said: “It was a really good event which was a lot of fun.

“The residents loved it and it brought back a lot of memories for them.”

Everyone present enjoyed champagne and cake and about 60 people attended.
