In the event, The Cherries won by a clear margin of 10 points taking the wind out of The Tornadoes’ sails with a final scoreline of 34 – 24.

Cherry Garth’s chef manager Osei Kuffour ensured teams enjoyed a delicious spread to round off the event, following the medal presentation.

Junior Walker, leisure and lifestyle manager and event organiser at the trust, said: “While it was a hotly contested finale, there was a lot of fun to be had by all. The event is a favourite on our activity calendar and the excitement is tangible as we get closer to the final. It was a great performance by The Cherries and a well-deserved win.”
