Recycling inspires artists for exhibition

Students from John Colet School, Wendover, welcomed visitors to a public art exhibition at Queens Park Centre in Aylesbury.

Year 12 and 13 students, studying for a BTEC Art qualification, were briefed to create a piece of art based on recycling. The art displayed featured a model person made from old wires, an eagle made mostly from a selection of old gloves and a wire fox on a carved wooden base.

Art teacher Sally Bulteel said: “Seeing all the students work on display is wonderful, I am incredibly proud of this group who all work incredibly hard and continually support and encourage one another.
