£3,000 worth of jewellery taken in Aylesbury burglary

BURGLARS got away with more than £1,000 in cash and £3,000 worth of jewellery last Friday.

The offence took place at a house in Churchill Avenue between 7pm and 8.15pm.

Police believe the offenders entered the property via the downstairs bathroom window and left via the kitchen door.

They took £1,250 cash and items of Asian gold, including bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings, with a total value of £3,000.
