Proclaimers to play Aylesbury Waterside Theatre

The Proclaimers will be performing at the Waterside Theatre in May, it has been announced.

The Scottish band, made up of twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, will come to Aylesbury on Sunday, May 29.

They are famous for songs including (I’m Gonna Be) 500 Miles, Sunshine on Leith,, Letter From America, I’m on My Way, Life With You and Lets Get Married.

According to a press release, the band has ‘carved a niche for themselves where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide as the emotional honesty, political fire, wit and sing-along raucousness of their songs and their extensive touring has enlightened and entertained fans new and old’.

They are also David Tennant’s favourite band of all time.
