Free website helps Aylesbury Vale residents stay informed about local plans

Residents across Aylesbury Vale can search official notices concerning developments, roads, licensing and other community matters through a free portal.

Public notices are published to ensure proposals and decisions are open to scrutiny rather than taking place without affected communities being informed.

The Public Notice Portal lets users search by postcode, notice type or local authority.

Its planning section includes applications for new buildings, extensions and changes of use, while its roads category covers closures, diversions, parking measures and speed limits.

Residents can also find applications involving pubs, restaurants, shops and events, alongside goods vehicle licensing, probate, trustees, contracts and tenders.

Email alerts are available daily, weekly or monthly.

Notices continue to be published by the Bucks Herald in print and online. Registered local news publishers also add announcements from their printed titles to the central website.

Almost 14,000 notices are displayed nationally at any one time, allowing communities to identify proposals and respond where consultation remains open.

To search for announcements affecting Aylesbury, Buckingham, Winslow and surrounding areas, visit publicnoticeportal.uk.
