So the Bucks Herald are putting together a handy guide of all the candidates who will be representing you.

MARK WILLIS

Mark Willis has lived in Aylesbury since 2000 when his family moved here for work.

Mark is a train operator on the London Underground and has a son serving in the Royal Navy.

Mark has been a member of Aylesbury Town Council for many years, and served as Mayor in 2018. Mark loves living in Aylesbury and wants everyone old and new in the town to have the best opportunities, environment and lives they can.

JEREMY HODGE

Jeremy has lived with his wife in the Aylesbury area for twenty five years and has three grown-up children.

A scientist by training, he runs his own business and has wide experience with public safety issues.

He is passionate about improving the quality of life and the future prospects of communities across Buckinghamshire. He wants to enhance education, health and work prospects for young people.

TOM HUNTER-WATTS

Tom moved to Aylesbury when he was two and attended local schools. He has a wealth of happy Aylesbury memories.

Tom trained as a nurse in 1999 and has worked at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, where he took specialist courses in renal dialysis.

He represents us on Aylesbury Town Council and Buckinghamshire Council having been first elected in 2011.

TIM DIXON

Tim is a Councillor and Passionate Environmentalist who has worked on litter picks across the town with residents.

Tim fully supports improving the town and making an impact that improves and enhances our environment. Tim has worked with the Liberal Democrat Focus Team throughout the pandemic to support residents across Aylesbury.

A father of two teenagers who believes that as a Town we need to ensure we develop and improve opportunities for the town’s youth.

Tim has led the Town Council’s community free events such as Parklife and Aylesbury on Sea and believes that the Town Councils events are an asset to the town and should be maintained.

RAJ KHAN

Raj has served Aylesbury as a Town, District and County Councillor, as well as serving as Mayor of Aylesbury.

Raj has lived here most of his life, raised a family and started a small business.4years ago, Ashley had the opportunity to help run the local youth club at Alfred Rose Community Centre which he attended as a teenager.

Raj will work hard to ensure our area and its residents gets a fairer share of resources and a strong local voice in the new Buckinghamshire Council.

SUSAN MORGAN

Susan has represented our area as a Town, District and now Unitary Councillor. She sits on a number of committees standing up for our local community

Ashley also plays football for a grassroots ADL team having played for Aylesbury United Youth.

Susan has always been available to our residents at any time, and has helped residents with issues from housing & homeless, to anti-social behaviour and drug issues.

SHERRILYN BATEMAN

Sherrilyn is an active member of your local Liberal Democrat Focus Team, and is involved with helping and supporting local residents across the area.

She attended local schools in the town and she has enjoyed working in the Financial Sector in Central Aylesbury for over 35 years.

Sherrilyn has been a member of GirlGuiding since a child and is currently Treasurer for a local District.

CHRIS HENDREN

Chris has spent much of his life living and working in Aylesbury. As a member of the Liberal Democrat Focus Team Chris has taken part in litter picks and always supports Town Council and local community events.

Chris attended local schools, and was a competitive swimmer for the county. He is currently a match volunteer at a local football club. Chris is committed to the community and helping residents.

ASHLEY MORGAN

Ashley Morgan is an Aylesbury Town Councillor. Ashley was born in Aylesbury and has lived here all of his life. Ashley is very passionate councillor and loves working within the local community, he had the chance to help run a local youth club which he attended as a child. He loves playing football for a local football team as sport has been a long passion of his. Ashley is very active within Aylesbury Town and loves helping the local residents.

PHANINDAR KOYA

Phanindar moved to Aylesbury for work 15 years ago and has been a local resident since then.

Phanindar works in the Information Technology sector and lives with his wife and children, who attend school in Aylesbury. Phanindar and his family enjoy participating and volunteering for the events at school.

ANDERS CHRISTENSEN

Anders has lived in our local area for over 20 years. Anders is passionate about community service having been a Treasurer for the Haydon Hill Community Association and a founder of Buckingham Park Parish Council.

Anders then campaigned against the closure of the Jonathan Page Play Centre which his children attended and was elected as a Town, District and County Councillor.

He is now deputy leader of the opposition on the Unitary Authority

SARAH JAMES

Sarah has been deeply involved in the local community for most of her life.

Sarah is a Coldharbour Parish Councillor and is also Chair of Governors at a local primary school. In her role as a Parish Councillor she serves as Chair of Aylesbury Board Environment Sub-Commitee.

In her professional career, Sarah works with over 50 businesses as a relationship manager for a leading bank and is a sustainability ambassador accredited by Cambridge University.

TUFFAIL HUSSAIN

Tuffail has been has been a local councillor for our area for 18 years. Having attended local schools in Aylesbury as a child he has stayed local and brought up his family in the town.

Tuffail is particularly active in improving leisure facilities for children and young adults and has represented the town as Mayor.

ADAM POLAND

Adam has lived and worked locally for many years, including as a youth sports coach and school teacher.

Since 2014, Adam has been a Coldharbour Parish Councillor, standing up for our area and our community.

In 2018, he became Parish Chairman and has represented our area on a number of key issues such as Flooding and HS2 and will keep working for you as your next Buckinghamshire Councillor.

GURINDER WADHWA

Gurinder has lived in Aylesbury for 7 years and is a teacher and Head of Literacy at a girl’s secondary school. In the past year Gurinder also became an Aylesbury Town Councillor.

Her experience in education makes her an effective voice for putting the interests of young people first. She is passionate about improving social care and wellbeing for all members of the community.

STEVEN LAMBERT

Steven has lived in Aylesbury since 2002 and is a Buckinghamshire Unitary Council having served on Aylesbury Vale District Council from 2007 and the County Council from 2013. He leads the opposition

He is also Aylesbury Town Councillor for Oxford Road Ward and is the longest serving Councillor for Coldharbour Parish Council.

Steven has a long record of standing up for our community and will keep doing so as your Buckinghamshire Councillor.

RICHARD LLOYD

Richard lives and works in the ward where he's vice- chair of Governors at Turnfurlong Infant school and his children go to the Junior school

Richard has been the Liberal Democrat Leader of Aylesbury Town Council for the last 2 years and is very proactive in getting the issues that matter to residents sorted.

MOHAMMED AZAM

Mohammed has lived in Aylesbury for more than 50 years with his wife and family. His children went to local schools and now work in the area raising children of their own.

As a retired grandfather, he wants to give back to his local community and build a better Aylesbury for the next generation.

NIDHI MEHTA

Nidhi is a certified auditor and qualified packaging design engineer who is passionate about getting involved and supporting the local community where she is raising her family.

Nidhi currently serves as a governor at a local primary school and is also a trustee at the Queens Park and Aylesbury Hindu Temple Trust.

JAKE CRANE

Jake Crane is a Trustee at an Aylesbury Foodbank and passionate about the eradication of food poverty.

He gives all his free time to work at an Aylesbury Foodbank running the office and organizing the creation of assistance for those who need support. Jake has lived in the Aylesbury area all his life and attended schools in Aylesbury.

MUZAMMIL SHAH

Muzammil Shah has lived in Aylesbury for 11 years and currently works as an operation manager for a local transport company.

He has been actively involved in local politics taking a keen interest in how grassroots politics works.

Katie Willis

Katie Willis has lived in Aylesbury since 2001 and has worked at William Harding School as a lunchtime supervisor and now at the Stadium.

Katie's son attended local schools and is now serving in the Royal Navy. Katie is passionate about public service and will work hard to help residents.
