Police trying to piece together what happened after collision between motorcyclist and pedestrian in Buckingham

Thames Valley Police are appealing for information following a serious injury road traffic collision which occurred in Buckingham.

At around 12.20pm on Saturday (20/6) there was a collision between a pedestrian and a motorcycle, westbound on the A421 road, near to the junction with London Road in the town.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s, sustained bruising and broken ribs.

The pedestrian, a man aged in his 20s sustained a serious head injury.

Both were taken to hospital where they remain.

Investigating officer, PC Phil McGlue, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, or anyone who may have information, to please speak to police.

“I would also ask any motorists with dash-cams, who were in the local area around the time, to check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation.
