Police seek witnesses after collision in Cublington on Friday

It has been reported that a white van, possibly a Transit, was travelling on the wrong side of the road.

The driver of a grey Peugeot Partner van took evasive action to avoid the white van.

The Peugeot then collided with a grey BMW 3 Series travelling in the opposite direction.

The front seat passenger of the Peugeot sustained a broken leg, while the driver of the BMW sustained a broken wrist. They were both treated at hospital following the collision.

Investigating officer, PC Martin Woodford, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are trying to identify the driver of the white van who left the scene possibly not knowing a collision had occurred.
