Police sack special constable over conduct

A Thames Valley Police Special Constable was dismissed from the force today after a special case hearing.

Special Constable Malheeha Mir was dismissed after the hearing which took place before Chief Constable Francis Habgood.

SC Mir was found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to discreditable conduct by accessing police systems for no policing purpose, for which she received a final written warning.

SC Mir was further found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to discreditable conduct and honesty and Integrity by failing to disclose an association with known criminals when required to do so under the Thames Valley Police Disclosable Association Policy.

In addition she was found to have breached the standards of professional behaviour relating to discreditable conduct and honesty and integrity by passing information that was operationally sensitive to a number of individuals.

For these two further breaches she was dismissed from the force without notice.
