A plant pot thief is on the loose in Aylesbury.

On Thursday a resident in Orwell Drive in Walton Court had two pots containing dianthus and pansies stolen from her garden, alongside eight log rolls.

Last autumn she also had seven pots stolen, containing pansies and primulas.

The resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, wants people to be aware there is a thief in the local area.

They said: “Hours and hours of work went into them and more than £100 in money.

“I want to make other people aware of what is going on.

“I’m gutted they have done this.”
