The come and sing event was organised by the Bucks Learning Trust Music department and proved a great success.

Singers of all ages and levels took part, while the 30-strong Aylesbury Youth Orchestra accompanied the singing, all led by conductor Tom Horn.

Fay Hayhurst, the trust’s area leader for Aylesbury North said: “The day was a big success and I’ve come in to a lot of nice feedback this morning (Monday).

“The performance lasted nearly an hour and went very well and we plan to do something similar again in the future.

“I would like to thank all the participants - everyone was brilliant!”
