One of the most popular Christmas attractions in Aylesbury Vale was opened by Father Christmas himself at the weekend.
The main man rode his sleigh through the World’s End garden centre in Wendover in front of crowds of 600 people as he made his way to the famous grotto.
General manager Alex Guy said: “The public always support Santa’s arrival so despite some bad weather we still had good crowds.”
Hannah Gray, nine, got the chance to join Santa on board his sleigh after winning a competition to design a badge.
Mr Guy said: “We had 100 entries with different badges.
“As Hannah’s badge was judged the winner, it will be given to all the visitors to the grotto.
“Hannah had a wonderful day enjoying the activities.”
Other activities included a Snow Globe, a Christmas village, a fairground and face-painting.
These will be available up until Christmas.
