PICTURE SPECIAL: Rotary Club of Aylesbury Hundreds technology tournament

Pupils from four schools across Aylesbury Vale have taken part in a technology tournament.

The annual event is organised by the Rotary Club of Aylesbury Hundreds.

The tournament at Aylesbury College involved teams of pupils being given four hours to design and construct a bridge over a river.

Teams took part from the Grange School, Aylesbury High and Aylesbury Grammar Schools, as well as from Cottesloe School in Wing.

The teams were given four hours to complete the task.

The winners of the Foundation group were Aylesbury Grammar School, while the Intermediate and Advanced prizes went to The Cottesloe School.

The best portfolio shield was won by The Grange School.

Prizes were presented by the mayor of Aylesbury Cllr Allison Harrison, chairman of the district council Jenny Bloom and rotary district 1260 governor Prue Dixon.
