Picture special: Joggers dash around Claydon House for debut race
Run the Claydons took place for the first time yesterday and more than 40 people tackled the seven mile route.
Despite numbers being lower than hoped and teething problems with signage, race director Mike Spencer-Jones was pleased to see people enjoying the course.

But up to £400 was raised for Friends of Bourton Meadow, which helps supply the school with resources such as playground equipment.
Mr Spencer-Jones said: “A big thank you to the Claydon estate and the Verney family for allowing us to use the grounds without anything in return – it was very generous of them.
“People really enjoyed the route and we were actually quite relieved with the numbers because it allowed us to get through things.”
The organising team is looking to move next year’s event from what is a busy running weekend across the region, to Easter instead but there has been no date set for the 2016 race.
