As the tidy-up begins this morning, organisers of the Chiltern Hills vintage vehicle rally have been reflecting on another successful year for the event.
The rally took place yesterday (Sunday) next door to the Bucks County Show ground at Weedon Park near Aylesbury.
Among the star attractions at this year’s event were Ford Transits which were 50 years old.
Adrian Fell, one of the organisers, who is this morning leading the clean-up operation, said: “It was a brilliant day, we had very good weather and a great turnout.
“Year on year the turnout has got better and this year we had more than 300 classic vehicles turn up on the day.
“We had over 1,200 vehicles and everyone seemed like they were having a great time.
“It is too early to have the figures but we did get take in record gate money this year.”
