Ene approached the victim, a 19-year-old woman, on the Iron Bridge at about 5am on New Year’s Day this year.

He briefly spoke to the victim before sexually assaulting her over her clothing.

He was arrested on the same day as the offence and was charged on 13 February.

Investigating officer, PC Cat Cameron of the response team based at Aylesbury police station, said: “The custodial sentence handed down to Ene reflects the severity of this offence. He approached the victim, who he did not know, on New Year’s Day this year. He began chatting to the victim before then sexually assaulting her over her clothing.
