The headteacher at the school, Matt Tomson was quick to thank staff and pupils at the school for their hard work in keeping the school on the right track.

Mr Tomson says: "The children and staff have been far from complacent and have worked incredibly hard to build upon their previous successes at the school.

"I am so proud of everything we have achieved together. Such a great Christmas present.

"The opening line of the report says it all, 'Pupils love coming to school' - you don't hear that very often!

The Ofsted report says the school "encourages pupils to be curious about their learning and resilient when faced with a challenge."

Not only has the school scored a 'good' judgement but they have met the requirements of a the new inspection framework which was introduced in September.
