The exhibition has been curated by iconic photographer Nick Knight.

Nick Night career has been closely entwined with those of Alexander McQueen and John Galiano, with a focus on experimentation, pushing boundaries and challenging his audiences.

For this project, he's focusing on 'the classic rose', but with the aim of expressing it in an entirely new way.

Knight says, “I am delighted that Lord Rothschild has invited me to exhibit at Waddesdon. It is not only one of the country’s finest and most beautiful estates, but with its commitment to canonical and contemporary art it seems the perfect place to show my series ‘Roses from my Garden’ which references the rich history of classical painting whilst also looking towards the exciting world of new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.”

There are also lots of other fun Easter events planned.

On Thursday, April 2 at 3.15 to 4pm there will be a 'spotlight' talk on Dutch Old Masters: from Dou to De Hooch

The grounds will also feature 'tremendous-tree-themed-trails' over Easter, and there will even be a petting farm at Waddesdon for the first time.

The petting zoo will arrive on Wednesday 15 April to the 19.

There will be a Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 4 April and Monday 13 April, starting at 10am to 4pm. This will also feature the chance for young people to learn about nature and the history of Waddesdon Manor.

Between Sat 23 – Sun 31 May we will also see the return of the ever-popular Colourscape to Waddesdon for the sixth year.

This extraordinary experience of colour and light is not to be missed.
