Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research to Host First Virtual Quiz

The charity event, taking place online over Zoom, is £6 to enter (per team/household), with all money raised going towards funding life-changing research into the complications of spinal cord injury.

SMSR spokesperson, Derek Cutler, explained: “Sadly, since the coronavirus outbreak, like many charitable organisations, Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research has been seriously affected, seeing a significant drop in donations along with the cancellation or postponement of planned charity events for the remainder of the year.”

He added: “It’ll be my first outing as a quiz host but I’m really looking forward to it, and hope that quiz-lovers will sign up to play, and help us to raise much-needed funds to ensure imminent research studies into pain management and prevention of urinary infections can continue.”
