This new event was enjoyed by whole families with children as well as grandparents and four-legged friends taking part in the fun.

BML Personal Training & Fitness Studio made sure every Santa was warmed up and ready for the 3km Dash with a gentle aerobics session before Santa Claus himself gave them the go-ahead to start off at 11am.

“The support and welcome from the people of Great Missenden was amazing, with lots of spectators cheering on our Santa Dashers, and it was a truly wonderful addition to our fundraising calendar,” said FNHC’s Events & Community Manager Vicky James. “We would like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make the event run smoothly and safely, the local businesses who supported us and to all those who took part to raise money for the charity.”

So far the event has raised just over £1,000 for the Hospice, with sponsorship money still coming in.

The Charity is holding another Santa Dash in Wendover on Saturday 21st December. Find out more on the Charity’s website at fnhospice.org.uk/santa-dashes.
