S&S won a regional award for the South East at this year's ceremony.

The Bucks Herald spoke to Stevi, who said 'it hadn't sunk in yet' but they were over the moon.

She said: "We've been to the British Takeaway Awards before, we were nominated in 2018 but unfortunately didn't win.

"But to us, at the time it didn't matter - we'd felt we'd won anyway.

"To get the award this time around was such a great feeling, we were all so shocked but absolutely thrilled."

Stevi said she thinks the secret to their success was their 'authenticity', as her husband Steven hails from Kingston Jamaica, which is where he learned his trade.

Stevi added: "We think that people like us because it's coming different, but it's got to be authentic for us. Caribbean cuisine is so diverse from across the islands, some of the bigger chain restaurants try and do a bit of everything and I've always thought it falls a bit flat.

"We serve curried goat, curried chicken, jerk chicken but also have our own takes on classics like Jerk wraps, BBQ wings and flaming wings which are currently really popular."
