Red Arrows will fly past Winslow today

People enjoying the great outdoors in Winslow this morning could be treated to a sight of the famous Red Arrows display team flying overhead.

The team will be carrying out a practice formation flight today, Wednesday, March 31, with a route that travels through Buckinghamshire.

The route startis from RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire at 10.37am and travels across Cambridgeshire and down to Surrey, before heading north to fly from Skirmett in the Chilterns to Northampton, Collingham and back to Scampton. It is due to pass over the Runnymede Air Force Memorial at 11.08am

The flight is scheduled to reach Skirmett at 11.13am and Northampton at 11.19am, but timings may vary due to weather or other requirements. If the team were take the most direct route from Skirmett to Northampton, it would take them close to Winslow.
