The guide has been produced by Wycombe District Council with support from Visit Buckinghamshire to encourage visitors and local people to explore the delights of our local area and discover some hidden gems.

Councillor Graham Peart, Cabinet Member for Community, said: “Whether you are after a gentle stroll or a bracing hike, these walks offer great scenery, attractive villages and a taste of Midsomer.

“Tourism initiatives like this not only add to the ‘feel good’ factor of a place, but also play an important part in supporting local businesses by bringing new customers.

“There are some great suggestions for places to stop and take in views and to enjoy some great food and drink as well as pick up some amazing local produce created by talented people in local businesses. It’s just one way we are working to enhance people’s experience of our local area and to support local enterprise and entrepreneurs.”

The leaflet was launched on Tuesday 10 March with a two-mile walk starting from The Lions of Bledlow in Church End, a Midsomer filming location.
