The march is currently heading to Vale Park, and has been policed throughout.
Reporter Thomas Bamford who is covering the event believes that up to 1,000 people are on the march.
The protest event has been peaceful and was described by an onlooker as 'moving'.
Many of the marchers are wearing face coverings, to try and stay safe amid the current coronavirus pandemic.
