Manhunt after teenager raped in town centre


An 18 year old woman has been raped in Aylesbury town cente - and police are hunting for her attacker.

Officers investigating were made aware of the assault of an 18-year-old woman, by a man at approximately 3am on Saturday, in Buckingham Street, Aylesbury.

They man they want to speak to in connection with this incident is described as white, in his late-twenties to early-thirties, around 5ft 8ins, slim build, with short curly light-brown hair.

He was wearing a dark top with the sleeves rolled up, and jeans.

Investigating Officer, Det Sgt Simon Johnson of Force CID based at Aylesbury police station, said: “We want to speak to anyone who was in Buckingham Street following a night out in the town at around 3am on Saturday.
