HS2 decision to be made by Government tomorrow

It is not known when the announcement on the future of the scheme will be made, but a final decision - following the Oakervee Review into the scheme, is likely to be made tomorrow.
This newspaper set up the HS2: Enough Is Enough Campaign and is calling for the scheme to be scrapped in it entirety.

Hide AdHS2 is billions over budget already, and does not represent a viable option for commuters, does not benefit the areas it will destroy, and the firm is not offering a fair deal for those affected.
We believe that HS2 is tantamount to vandalism, particularly in The Chilterns where ancient woodlands and wildlife habitats will be taken forever.
