The coronavirus has had an enormous impact on people in the local community, which in turn has led to an increase in demand for their care services.

Speaking about the need to expand the team of CAREGivers, Lee Harrington, owner of Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire said: “The way in which we operate is unique and allows us to offer a different working environment for our CAREGivers.

"For example, we match clients and CAREGivers – we look for common areas of interest or life experience so that there is an immediate connection.

"We aim to give continuity of care to our clients and therefore continuity of employment to our CAREGivers.

“Our care visits are of a minimum duration of 1 hour, ensuring our clients receive the best quality of care while providing our caregivers with high levels of job satisfaction.”

On completion of their initial training, CAREGivers will become eligible to receive the nationally recognised Care Certificate and can go on to further develop their skills with additional qualifications should they wish.

Lee continued: “We have people requiring care right now and so we are very keen to encourage more local people to consider a career in care. For people with no prior experience we provide a full training programme so any compassionate, reliable people who are interested in working with us should get in touch.”
