A young actor from Waddesdon who is making waves in Hollywood has hosted an exclusive event for other British stars.
Danny De-Lilo trained at the New York Academy of Dramatic Arts.
The former Waddesdon C of E pupil lives in Los Angeles and has appeared in films including dark thriller Drive By Sunset, short film Proximity, and Red Heart, a romantic drama set on the day of the royal wedding.
And this month, he took to a presenting role, interviewing fellow British actor Maxine Peake about her role in Hamlet.
Danny said: “I was given the honour of hosting an exclusive red carpet event in downtown Los Angeles at the prestigious AT&T Center.
“I also engaged in an exciting Q&A session with film, television, and stage actress Maxine Peake, at the Brit Week Los Angeles movie screening of Hamlet, in which Ms Peake performed the title role.”
And speaking about his future plans, he added: “I’m on the go constantly. I audition, I am a presenter on a regular basis, I host the monthly NewFilmmakers LA film festival.
“The ultimate highlight of this year is that I’ll be co-hosting the NewFilmmakers LA Best of Awards, with jury members from across our industry including Academy Award nominated actor and director John Malkovich.”
